Sharon Tshipa is a Media Practitioner, Writer and Social Entrepreneur. She currently works as a Marketing Assistant for Xinhua News Agency, Botswana Bureau. Tshipa is also a Freelance Video Journalist for Agence France Presse (AFP) and Juka Africa Agency. She is a Freelance International Development Writer for Devex. Also she has several short stories published in online literary magazines. Her love for all things tourism and travel has since seen her become a RETOSA Tourism Ambassador for the Regional Tourism Organisation of Southern Africa. Tshipa is currently a Masters in Development Practice student at the University of Botswana.
Lesego Ellen Mosetlheng is Development Practitioner currently studying Masters in Development Practice with the University of Botswana. She holds a BA (Hons) Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham. Mosetlheng is passionate about impacting the lives of others by empowering them through entrepreneurship. She is a well cultured, open minded young lady currently working for the Local Enterprise Authority which empowers entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. She has worked for Khwedom Council - a San based organisation from which she has acquired experience in proposal writing and advocacy. Her hobbies include reading, travelling, camping and interacting.
Onkarabile Nato is read and is skilled in Computer Studies, Accounting and Business Studies. She has worked in numerous hotels therefore acquiring knowledge of the tourism and hospitality sector. She is currently employed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Nato has attended a number of workshops in Business Management and Coaching and is a business woman with a registered company doing business in different sectors. Her motto is ‘attempt the impossible in order to improve your work’.
Tshepiso VanZyl Madison holds a Master of Arts Politics and International relations and a Degree in Special Education from the University of Botswana. She has worked for several private schools within Botswana and also as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Botswana. She is passionate about public policy, contemporary issues in politics and International Relations. She is also a strong advocate for social development particularly in the disability area. Her hobbies include travelling, reading and interacting. In the future she plans to pursue a doctorate in either education or public policy and governance (peace and security).
A graduate from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Pearl Mokgatlhane prides herself in being one of the first Limkokwing University Botswana Ambassadors. Raised in both Ramonaka and Molepolole, Mokgatlhane played a role in community projects from a young age. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves travelling but if she really wants to introspect, you will find her with her nose in a book. If she is not reading one, then she is definitely writing poetry. Mother Theresa’s words inspire her: It’s not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing.
Ann Moatshe is an accomplished telecommunications engineer with a heart for people. Other than raising over USD10,000 for Kejara Soup Kitchen in Malaysia, she has also been involved in other humanitarian services and has being involved in the ‘treehugger’ campaign and volunteering for the Tara Ropka Environmental Organisation in South Africa. Ann’s interests include travelling for a purpose, and educating on the Christian Faith. She has travelled through Europe, North America, Asia and Africa and is currently a leader in Acts Church Botswana and is an organizer of the ‘Youth Alpha’ group in order to educate the youth about the foundations of Christianity.
Unaludo Masalila is a Customer Relations Practitioner with a Degree in Marketing and Diploma in International Travel & Tourism, employed by BA ISAGO University. She adores advocating for student rights, welfare - career guidance and coordinating student leadership and mentorship training. She is a BQA accredited trainer in Basic Customer Service, Business Communication, Selling and Life Skills. She has trained variouslocal corporate organizations. She is passionate about current affairs, nature conservation and Social Responsibility. She is a natural in events organizing and currently the PRO of Private Tertiary Institution Association which coordinates sports and social clubs competitions for all private tertiary institutions.
Keabetswe Baliki works as a Manager at Pick n Pay stores Botswana.Having had the opportunity to have been recruited as a freshmen into the retail giant. Baliki found his purpose in customer care/relation which has seen him through different hierarchical stages such as Buyer and Inventory Manager to his current title. When not preoccupied with his duties,he spents time researching more about managing skills,leadership and travel. Baliki holds an A.B.M.A accredited Certificate in Human Resource Management.
Tshoganetso Motshidisi is a Travel Consultant who is passionate about travel and currently working for a tour operating company. With her experience in hospitality she is hoping to work with the girl child in rural areas, helping them find jobs in Hotels and Lodges to help better their lives and the lives of their loved ones. During her spare time she enjoys volunteering in orphanages, Tshoganetso enjoys traveling and interacting with people of different cultures.
Kethabile Stevenson is passionate about Public Policy,contemporary issues in Politics and International Relations. Stevenson advocates strongly for societal development that encompasses all people across board. A strong believer in an HIV/AIDS free generation, Stevenson hopes to be part of the drive that pushes to achieve these set goals through Public Education. Currently studying BA in International Relations Kethabile wishes to pursue a Masters Degree in Linguistics,Governance or Public Policy in the near future. His hobbies include traveling,reading,cooking and spending time with family.
